NRA Carry Concealed Weapon (CCW) Course
We offer the State of Ohio Required Carry Concealed Weapon Courses certified by the NRA. The lead instructor is an active off duty police supervisor. Other instructors are also off duty law enforcement officers or are certified NRA instructors with real life experience in firearms.
- State Required 12 hour class.
- NRA Certified Firearms Instructor.
- Max of 15 Students per class.

This class is run in 3 days total. We also offer one day of class and one 2 hour range date. Ask for special class dates and times.
2nd and 3rd Shift Workers - We can and will arrange a night shift class for those who cannot make late day or afternoon classes. We can customize the hours if we have a minimum number of students. (typically 8) We can even offer third shift classes such as 9 Pm to 7 Am or break it into two days for various late night class times.
Typically we run as follows:

Currently our classes are at the brand new Comfort Inn Suites -Across from the USAF Museum off Springfield St. This is a nice clean facility centrally located and easy to find. You will not be in a rough shod tent, pole barn, or sitting on folding chairs in a room 5x5 for ten hours like some of the less expensive classes being offered. There are clean restrooms, a snack area, parking lot outside the door and one mile from local eateries.
The range we use is a brand new state of the art, air conditioned, properly ventilated indoor facility. Your class will not be dependant on the weather that day. You will shoot on your assigned range date. We don not have students huddled in tents in a field, standing in mud, or next to livestock like some of the competitors on a make shift range waiting your turn. There are even guns to rent before you buy if you wish to experiment with various weapons. The cost is approximately 10 dollars to rent a gun. Save hundreds of dollars by trying before you buy.
We do not give away cheap hats, unofficial certifications, low level memberships to any organization, nor do we try to sell memberships to any private organization, shooting range, club, or other any other profit item. All we do is professionally train citizens to legally carry a weapon for personal protection.
We offer training by professional trainers, one of which is a current off duty law enforcement office. Information received this class will be current on the state laws that are now in effect. All information you receive will be up to the minute on laws and issues that will directly affect you as a CCW permit holder. We do not spend your class time discussing the “good old days” or telling war stories. We offer a relaxed environment and have excellent reviews by past students, but we do not waste your time or your money.
Instructors have real life experience with firearms, gunfights, and the actual experience of being shot, shot at, and returning fire. You will leave class knowing what to expect. You will get the truth in a tasteful and professional delivery from professional and “Experienced” trainers. No made up war stories or fluff.
Female Students - Females are welcomed by our female Instructor. Our female students are treated with respect and dignity and are led by a female instructor for comfort. There is no boot camp mentality in our class, no vulgarity, smoking, taunting, or other inappropriate activity. If requested an all female class can be arranged All students are treated with respect regardless of previous firearms experience, sex, age, ethnic background and no form of inappropriate behavior is tolerated toward any student by instructors or other students. No scoring of ability occurs in our classrooms. This is a class for both the beginner and the experienced shooter who are trying to meet state CCW requirements. All are welcome!
